15th October 2022 was an important day and a proud occasion for three members of the Birkirkara Karate Club. Three sensei, LINO SPITERI, DAMIAN VELLA LENICKER and CHARLES AXIAK successfully passed their YONDAN (4th Dan) exam with flying colours. All three students had to demonstrate their technical ability in Kihon, Kata (their own composed kata and three traditional kata) and Kumite both as in self-defense situations, as well as kata bunkai and line-up attacks. All three students were examined in front of the Examiners’ board of the Malta Karate Federation. Well done all.
